Fundamental Assay Techniques, Protein and Nucleic Acid (Online Course)

This three day, classroom training course, intended for assay developers, covers skills for developing application-specific nucleic acid assays or immunoassays on the Luminex system. In-house assays that use a specific platform, format, or bead product will be used for this course. Training is available at Luminex in Austin or at the customer site at an additional expense.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will:

  • Learn about MicroPlex, MagPlex and xTAG microspheres
  • Learn about nucleic acid and protein coupling
  • View demonstrations of assays
  • Learn about assay optimization and troubleshooting
