IS 2.3 & Luminex® 100/200 Software & Maintenance Online Training
This online course covers instructions for navigating the Luminex IS 2.3 software, locating hardware components, performing routine and long term system maintenance, and troubleshooting suggestions. Also covered are instructions for creating templates, data acquisition, data analysis, and troubleshooting suggestions. Training is available through the Luminex Training website.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will:
- Recognize system components and software screens needed to perform system maintenance. Components
- Know how to remove/replace the sample probe and when and how to adjust the probe height
- Perform the Daily Startup and Shutdown
- Know when to calibrate the system
- Calibrate the system
- Perform the Weekly, Six-month Parts, and Annual Parts Maintenance
- Identify a clog in the system
- Know how to perform some basic hardware troubleshooting procedures, using the Luminex website as a reference when necessary
- Work with templates including creation, import/export, and types
- Work with batches including definition, creation, and batch commands
- Know how to open an incomplete batch
- Know how to replay a batch
- Know how to open analyzed data within the software
- Manipulate regressed data in the software
- Know where to locate regressed data files
- Troubleshoot basic software and assay issues, using the Luminex website as a reference
